Our Story

VET IT was started to solve a common problem facing staffing firms: the technical vetting of candidates. We were started by a staffing firm, for staffing firms. As a staffing firm, we found ourselves submitting 5+ candidates for one position only to have 1-2 that were actually competitive. We tried to screen the candidates ourselves, but lacked the knowledge to truly assess the candidate’s technical skillset. Realizing we needed a better solution, we tapped into our own personal networks, finding individuals that had experience in the areas where we lacked the technical knowledge. These first “VXperts” began conducting interviews with our candidates on our behalf to ensure the candidate’s skills truly matched their resumes and met the requirements of the position. Next thing we knew we were submitting 2-3 candidates, all of whom were qualified, saving time and money for our clients and enhancing our reputation. Furthermore, our hit rate increased leading to an almost immediate impact to our bottom line.

Realizing this was a problem for not only other staffing firms, but anyone going through the hiring process, we decided it was a service we needed to offer to a broader audience. And so, VET IT was born.

By tapping the existing skillsets of industry professionals and instructors, we have developed a growing network of industry experts (“VXperts”) to conduct technical interviews on behalf of staffing firms and other clients. Our clients benefit from a cost-effective way to assess candidates. Our candidates benefit from having the ability to exhibit their skills in live interviews. Our VXperts benefit by earning additional income by simply putting their existing skill sets to use. In the end, we have created a platform that helps increase the efficiency and efficacy of the hiring process.
